Kendra and Dancing with the Stars partner
Kendra Wilkinson made a jittery start in her Dancing with the Stars debut recently, and she has told People magazine why she didn’t do as well as expected. Kendra apparently fears the stage! She explained: “I have a fear of the stage, a fear of the audience,” Wilkinson said. “[The bright lights of the ballroom] made me dizzy. But I pulled it out and the fact that Carrie Ann [Inaba] said I didn’t miss one step made me feel so good.”
Kendra’s partner Louis Van Amstel appeared to have to force her into position a couple of times, but Kendra did display a good sense of timing, staying in time with the music throughout the entire piece.
Perhaps the cha cha doesn’t suit Kendra “style”. She told the magazine: “In the cha cha you’re not supposed to bend your knees but I had to or I would have passed out, I was so nervous, I barely took a breath.”
With the debut out of the way she should only do better in future dances. Dancing’s next performance show is on March 28.
